Have you heard of reverse logistics? If you haven’t, surely you know the concept behind it: e-commerce returns.
The Mexican businessman Agustín Shutte told my colleague Christine Hall that in Latin America, the The reverse logistics process “is a disaster” – and it’s a mess that his company Devolut hopes to fix, with $600,000 in seed funding.
But globally, Devolut is not the only startup in this space. There is a YC Combinator alumnus reverse and based in Philadelphia return logic. But Shutte told Christine that the US company happy returnswhich PayPal acquired in 2021, is the one it most hopes to emulate, with a network of “city points”.
