INSS (National Social Security Institute) beneficiaries, such as retirees and retirees, will start receiving their 13th salary share starting this month, according to the federal government.
Last week President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) signed decree 11.517, which anticipated the 13th of Social Security recipients. According to the government, the total investment is R$ 62.6 billion and will reach at least 30 million people.
The transfer will be made in two installments according to the usual INSS payment schedule.
Rates will be released starting May 25 and June 25 for those earning up to minimum wage. For the others, expiration begins on June 1st and follows the calendar according to the final number of the benefit.
Who has the right?
The allowance is granted to persons subject to social security contributions and their relatives who in 2023:
- help received with temporary disability;
- accident allowance;
- Retirement;
- death benefit;
- or prison aid.
