THE Bentley Bentayga it is impressive in its extravagance and long wheelbase Sky blue The first edition is even more so. Unique styling, premium materials, extra rear legroom and opulent seating make this expensive SUV a sublime place to while away your time, whether behind the wheel or as a passenger. And while the Bentleys might seem more suited to one of those water bottles with a crystalline energy that focuses the energy within (yes, It’s a thing), the capacity contains a luxury of its own. So, can the Bentayga EWB is home to what is truly the best beverage decanter on the go, the traditional 32oz Nalgene water bottle? Damn I hadn’t found this out while the Bentley was in my driveway.
The most important real estate is, of course, the front cup holders, so let’s start there.
It’s hard to be disappointed, because sitting in the driver’s seat of the Bentayga is a natural balm for the soul, but warm feelings will not make our Nalgene fit where we would like. Let’s try the doors next.
It looks great on, and we must say, blue color Some of my Nalgene’s sturdy, BPA-free plastic looks quite nice against the gray and lavender leather of the car.
How about people sitting in business class?
As is often the case, the rear cup holders are subject to the same constraints as the front ones. The Nalgene won’t fit, but maybe the doors?
These generous the pockets still provide a place for these large bottles. But there’s another place in this Bentley to hide a fifth Nalgene.
Just in front of the rear cup holders is a storage room that opens up. It’s big enough to fit a Nalgene, but not big enough to close the lid on it. It wouldn’t be a terrible place to temporarily hold the bottle while actively hydrating, then stash it in your door pocket once your thirst has subsided.
Take a closer look in the video below. If the Bentayga is a little rich for your taste, you can see how the Nalgene fares in the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Toyota 4Runner or the upcoming Volkswagen ID.7 electric sedan.
