  1. Hey, do you think time of the year can affect cycle length? I’ve been tracking my cycle in terms of period start date and end date for years now due to suffering with secondary amenoreha in my mid twenties (I lost a significant amount of weight quickly and was over exercising and unknowingly undereating. I had excess stubborn fat/cellulite around my hips and butt which is why I was lowering my calories further to lose it… but the fat remained and my period disappeared.) I went to see a dr after three months of missed periods and a blood test showed that my oestrogen was too low.
Ever since then Ive regained my period, paid more attention to my diet and tracked my cycle as I know the consequences of losing your period – especially in terms of what can happen to bone density in older years.
For one whole year my cycle has typically fluctuated between 27-29 days long but this month it was 34 days. I looked back in my app and the last time it went over 30 days was February 2021 where it was 33 days. I can’t help but wonder if it’s the time of year that affects it? Maybe the cold? Less vitamin d? Even though I do supplement. I’ve been cycle syncing my workouts, seed cycling and eating according to my phases and deep breathing regularly since December 2021. I’ve really stepped up my attention to my cycle for the last three months so it’s kind of knocked my confidence a little that period has been delayed this month…the only reason I can think is because I don’t thrive at this time.. I’m a spring/summer kind of person? What do you think?

  2. I’ve been loving Medical Medium’s books. His THYROID HEALING book is AMAZING! check him out – millions follow him, and his books are free at the library. He provides them so everyone can get the info.
