35 Illinois lawmakers achieve record 100% voting at NFIB

NFIB Illinois today announced that 35 state legislators (5 Senate members and 30 House members) achieved a record NFIB voting percentage of 100% in the 2023-24 session.

“Small businesses need support now more than ever. I thank these pro-small business lawmakers for stepping up and lending a helping hand to everyday people.” said NFIB Illinois State Director Noah Finley“The cost of doing business is skyrocketing and small business owners are overwhelmed by red tape. If lawmakers want Illinois to succeed, they must work together to ensure Illinois business owners can successfully own, operate and grow their businesses.”

The NFIB 2023-24 voting record is based on eight key votes in both chambers of the Illinois General Assembly on issues affecting small businesses. It does not include all votes cast by legislators. NFIB positions are based on member votes. Each year, NFIB surveys its members on issues that could impact their small businesses. These member votes authorize NFIB to take positions on legislation introduced and debated in Springfield.
