3R Petroleum (RRRP3): Stock rises 11.4% after oil company wins Ibama license at Pole Potiguar, but softens

The shares of the oil company 3R Petroleum (PVP3) had a strong movement in the session this Friday (19), after the company received from Ibama the operating license for fields in the Potiguar Pole, the last precondition for the purchase of the asset from Petrobras (PETR4), as reported by the company.

The licenses were for the Ubarana, Ubarana Oeste and Cioba fields, 3R reported in a relevant event.

In early 2022, the Petrobras board approved the sale of 22 concessions of a group of assets in the Potiguar Basin to 3R Petroleum for US$1.38 billion.

With this, the company’s shares rose to 11.39%, to R$ 35.50, in the afternoon. However, at 2:05 p.m. (Brasilia time), the shares softened their gains and, at 2:05 p.m. (Brasilia time), they rose 3.07% to R$32.85.

Also in news from the oil company, the company’s board of directors approved the fifth issuance of simple debentures, not convertible into shares, of the unsecured type, with additional real guarantee, in a single series and public distribution, for an amount of R $ 3,500 million 3R Potentiate.

Of the total, R$ 2 billion will be under the firm placement guarantee regime and R$ 1 billion under the best placement efforts regime.

35 million debentures will be issued with a maturity of up to five years.

The remuneration of the securities will follow fixed interest rates that will oscillate between 9.49% and 10.16% per year depending on the payment date.

The funds raised will go towards the general corporate purposes of the company.
