In Gujarat’s Surat, a 6-year-old innocent girl saved herself from the clutches of a kidnapper. The accused was trying to kidnap the innocent by seducing him. However, the girl somehow managed to save herself. This entire incident was captured in the CCTV installed nearby. The police have registered a case and arrested the accused.
This incident is from Barod area, the girl was coming down from the stairs of her house. Only then a certain person came and started talking to the girl. It is visible in the CCTV that the man is kissing the girl’s forehead and lifts her in his lap.
The child feels uncomfortable and starts crying. Frightened by this, the person leaves the girl and runs away. The innocent tells her parents while crying and then CCTVs are checked. In which an unknown person was seen, who was molesting the girl.
Kidnap incident captured in CCTV
The victim’s family immediately lodged a complaint about the incident at the local police station. To catch the accused, the police formed several teams and the accused reached Rajan Gupta. Rajan runs a mobile repairing shop in Kadodara area.
He told the police that his wife had gone missing and he had gone to the building to find her. However, the police did not believe any of his words. A case has been registered against Rajan under sections of the Poxo Act, kidnapping and molestation. Also the police has arrested him.
Police Inspector NK Kamadia told that the C team of the police tells the children about good touch and bad touch. The innocent showed bravery and started shouting. An unknown person was trying to pick him up. The police has arrested the accused and is engaged in questioning him.
