Santa Monica police reported Remains of Beau Mann, founder of K Tech Company Sober Grid, were found in the yard of an abandoned property late last month. Dental records confirmed his identity, and no cause of death has been determined.
“Beau was a beautiful soul who spent the better part of his life helping others,” the company said on Facebook.
Mann, 39, was missing since November 20, 2021. Surveillance footage showed him exiting an Uber and entering a 7-Eleven in the San Fernando Valley at 2 a.m. LAPD police reported that Mann called 911 from another Uber a short time later, but they were unable to locate him. Uber records indicate he was dropped off at 2:35 a.m., near Sober Grid’s offices in Santa Monica. It was the last record of his journey.
Mann’s disappearance has since mystified his family and law enforcement. Last year, he was featured in an episode of Dateline.Missing in America“series.

Foul play is not suspected
earlier today, Dateline spoke to Sergeant Erica Aklufi of the Santa Monica department, who said foul play is not suspected. Police initially investigated Mann’s Uber driver in the case, but did not file charges.
