Fast-food employees have certainly endured their fair share of bad behavior from customers, and most are told to live by the code that “the customer is always right.”
But a Taco Bell employee is being praised for refusing to serve an acting-out customer in a drive-thru.
The incident has been recorded in a TikTok video that has gone viral. In the video, we see a very angry customer screaming over the drive-thru speaker, seemingly in the middle of an escalating argument. “Why don’t you come out with your own eyes and take the King’s eye,” he shouts
The employee responds calmly before another employee jumps in as the angry customer continues to yell abuse.

“Sir, common sense would tell you to drive… but, alas, common sense is not so common,” the employee returned to him. An angry person gets angry and angry, only to stop time and time again. One has to guess that he eventually stopped taco-less.
Thousands of users took to the comments section to praise the workers for working together and remaining calm in the face of an incredulous customer.
“As a former drive-thru worker, I’m glad her co-workers stood up for her because some customers act like not everyone is human with feelings,” one user wrote.
“This honestly makes my heart so happy. As a customer service worker – I’m so tired of being disrespected that I’m nothing and have to laugh,” said another.
Taco Bell did not formally comment on the incident.
