I wonder how Amanda felt about the doctor reading the info off the prompter? I'm aware they could've had her do that as a back up so she would sound more professional but it was still weird to watch and felt fake.
First question: ask if you are getting your ovaries out, then ask about hormone pills.
Second: pcos benefits from lower carb diet for less inflammatory reactions. Keep your weight and insulin in check.

I have PCOS it is extremely painful and debilitating… doctors aren’t educated on that subject.

Love her ! Im a registered nurse and im learning things with this segment. The more we know about our health the more we can do to improve it. I love it that the audience is mostly ppl of color, and that they too can get educated on these subjects. This segment has to be longer or bring Dr.Freda in more often. You can maybe make the segment more dynamic if audience members can ask questions or if you play a true or false game including the audience and then let Dr. Freda give the answer and explaination that comes with it. ♥️

BS! PCOS IS curable. Many women did cure hers on a vegan diet. My friend dropped sugar, dairy and refined carbs (she started eating whole wheat bread), and she cured her PCOS. She is the living proof that it can gone away if you have will to change your diet and lifestyle drastically (e.g. she also stopped drinking from plastic bottles).
