Next time whip out the calculator and track as you go. This way she can decided before checkout if she wants to put something back & will know what she’s spending. Takes away the embarrassment & judgment at the register
Are stupid – because my parents made me save 75% – I learned what was important and what wasn't when it came to money – what you need and what you want is 2 different things
So you are trying to teach her financial responsibility but you don’t teach her to keep track with a calculator while she’s in the store? And you film her embarrassment and post it on the internet? You’re a pretty terrible parent.
Some of y'all are really spitting out whatever you want just because you saw one video. Bro check her other vids. She mentioned in of them that they are in this channel together. The kids get a share of the revenue and gets to have a say on what to put and what not to put online. This is a business and the kids gets their share. Grow up people, do you seriously think any parent would want their kids to be humiliated? Sure, maybe some parents but man don't pour your traumas on this family. Leave them be. If that is what works best for THEIR family, then it's THEIR business….. Y'all are too sensitive about the most irrelevant things. 😪
Look when i was a kid i had like monthly 3 bucks and i made my own business from that money and made 100 bucks from 3, i bought materials and started toade bracelets and sell them in the street, after 1 month employed 3 people and actually made a full business
Make sure she signs up for the ulta member ship you get 1 point for every dollar you spend ..I had an $80 order that I used my points for it came to $32 !!!
My mom and dad are def not like this they tell me all the time “don’t use your gift card I can pay for it” like that’s the reason why I got the gift card but whatever another excuse not to use my own money😘🫤😭
But that kid definitely knew it would be well over 300$. Even if she didnt look at the prices, would u expect a enormous basket to cost within 300$? She knew what she was doing and expected you to jump in and give her the rest of the money.
Good lesson, now she will appreciate how expensive the world really is, she might even be more grateful over the groceries in the home, kids have no idea how much food costs
Hmm I think you should change it abit. She should be calculating while shopping and making those decisions before hand. To not be stressed out and also to no be making the cashier wasting their time esp if there is a long line behind her. I know it was not the case this day but maybe you need to teach her this and not wait her to learn everything on her own. Also she should not be spending the whole 300$ on makeup and useless things at Target. You should teach her to always pay herself first and then see her priorities. A portion of it should go to investing or future investing. This teaches her to be rich and have a buisness mindset, the goal is not just to know that she has a budget to stick on. I wish my fam teached me this that is why I am commenting.
You talk about amounts for the children where other parents have to give their families a roof over their heads, buy food and make sure they look neat. I don't mean the extra money saved, but we've heard all the amounts in recent times! Shame on you, you don't necessarily have to mention amounts! Keep in mind that there are people who have a hard time every week!😢
A little tip for next time: start adding up the price of each item you pick up. Then subtract it from the amount of money you have. Ulta is super expensive, so maybe make a list of all the items you want and only get those. If you see another item you like, add it to your list for next time. Or see if they have it at another store for cheaper
i would be so so so embarrassed..
Bro just give her the money
I went to ulta and bought 4 things and it was $100!?
grace
Her face lit up as soon as she smelled the scrub😂
Another way she can learn even more about money is if you were a good person and gave her a loan.
Grace should start a make up channel, Im sure she would get very popular one day
I wish my parents did this 🥲
wtf you guys got allowances??? I never got any money from my parents
That forced smile tho.
but yeah atleast she bought needs not wants
online shopping be like
Her jeans look like homeless fashion

"she didn't keep track of what she was spending" correct me if I'm wrong, but prices ain't ANYWHERE in Ulta
bro let the girl live she’s still just a child she can learn about that stuff when she gets older

She looks like she’s about to cry 😭

She literally put the whole basket……
I mean you took her to Ulta.. What did you expect ?
I love Florence by Millis too ❤
You could've told her before heading to checkout
I think you just wanted to embarrass her
Love how she’s supporting the Florence brand 😀
300! Man i didnt get that kind of allowance in a year
For what reason did u let her stuff her cart then if she was going to only purchase 1/10 of it
