Alpine strengthens its technical team with the addition of senior staff with experience at Red Bull and Ferrari

Fantoni has been on gardening leave since leaving Ferrari, where he spent 13 years, most recently as Head of Simulation in the design office alongside David Sanchez, who has since joined Alpine as Executive Technical Director.

The trio began work at Enstone today (July 1) and fit into Alpine’s three-pillar technical structure, focused on aerodynamics, performance and engineering.

Broadhurst will report to David Wheater, Dhanani to Ciaron Pilbeam and Fantoni to Joe Burnell, with Sanchez taking the role of overall technical leader.

Alpine is in the midst of a rebuild after a number of senior staff left the team over the past year or so, including its CEO, technical director, technical director, sporting director and head of aerodynamics.
