  1. Love F1, but we have to be frank about this. We're at the beginning of a full and fundamental economic reset.

The future will focus on reliable provision of 'critical' public goods & services. Real growth areas, which justify investment.

F1 will have to fit that model. A cost-cap is a good start, but don't be surprised if we end up more towards standard cars.

  2. Cost cap has to happen, the fact McLaren who aren't exactly short of money are calling for it too says a lot, will be interesting to see how teams reply on track if Ferrari does block the cap, guessing a lot of mirrors won't work lol

    Story

As a group we’ve not got much to offer other than being able to turn a steering wheel every so often. A good group of us are involved in racing Porsche’s and so we are attempting to virtual race 718 Cayman GT4’s on iRacing at Snetterton circuit on the 9th of May.

We are setting out to race solidly for 12 hours without driver changes, to match an NHS shift in support of our frontline workers against Covid-19.

A live stream will be available for everyone to check in the progress and watch the race live.

On behalf of all of us we’d like to thank every single person on the NHS front line for their undiminished support and incredible bravery throughout, before and after this crisis.

Please give generously and let’s see if we can race to make a difference for the NHS.

  4. Ted – F1 is not essential? I'd say it's more essential right now than ever before. People who are stuck at home are almost screaming for entertainment. And it's nice to see Sky stepping up with this.

  5. If the financial climate won’t allow teams to continue to spend at the current rate. It seems that a budget cap wouldn’t be needed. Spending should reduce as a natural consequence of the financial climate

  6. Re F1. Why don’t you start talking about free to air F1. This will defiantly get more fans, especially through these times. You keep going on about getting more fans. Free to air would be the best way. A few F1 drivers got interested in F1 when F1 was on free to air..

  7. Could you implement some sort of cost cap similar to a salary cap in NHL that has a minimum and max spend? Or like baseball that has a luxury tax if you spend over the limit?

  8. im sure ferrari will bitch moan threaten to leave etc but if all teams stand united they rhen have 2 choices put up or shut up and while they are part of f1 fabric they are to big for there boots who need taking down afew

  9. What a load of shit sky sports is. Why are you only making it available if u live in uk while other videoes you allow eceeyone to watch. Fucking idiots. Don't you want your shit videoes being watch you you think we should all do this on youtube. Morrons is what you are. Not gonna support anything sky sports does and gonna hate until you fix it.

  10. Kravitz is the most forgetable person of the entire f1 history… Dont have any carisma or bright to be close to f1… Sorry to say this but he is just a show of person like old ladies in a hill that likes to know the life of his neighbor ahahahahahaha
