ASBTDC to Offer Free Assistance for Small Business Owners in July

JONESBORO – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at Arkansas State University will offer several opportunities for small business owners to learn how to grow their businesses in July.

ASBTDC provides personalized confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs. Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing and profitability.

Business owners will have the opportunity to attend consulting sessions and meet with an ASBTDC business consultant. Spaces for consulting sessions are limited.

The events will take place as follows:

– On Tuesday, July 2, ASBTDC Business Consultant Rheanna Branscum will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Cherokee Village at the Spring River Innovation Hub, located at 7 East Cherokee Village Mall.

– On Tuesday, July 9, Robert Bahn, ASBTDC business consultant, and Clint Vogus, management instructor and author of “The Right Recipe for Business Success,” will lead an online coffee chat from 9 to 10: 30am

– Thursday, July 11, ASBTDC Director Laura Miller will lead consulting sessions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce Tech Depot at 209 Hazel St.

– On Tuesday, July 16, Miller will lead consulting sessions in Paragould at the Generating Innovative Network, which is located at 200-212 North Pruett St.

– On Thursday, July 25, Miller will lead consulting sessions in Pocahontas in room 103 of the Corporate and Community Education/Adult Education Complex at Black River Technical College, located at 1410 Highway 304 East.
