ASHFORD, Ala. (WTVY) – An Ashford small business was welcomed with open arms when it moved into its brick-and-mortar site downtown.
The Build a Bow boutique sells children’s hair accessories and outfits, as well as Ashford-themed T-shirts and screen prints for local athletic teams.
The owner, Kimberly Watson, is not from Ashford, but says the community has supported her and her business since day one.
“I came to Ashford to showcase in October so just under a year ago and it’s been amazing,” Watson said. “Since I’ve been here, everyone walks into the store with big smiles and open arms and I feel at home here from the moment I first open the door. I love it, it keeps busy and even if they’re not here to buy something, they come and say hi and give me a way and that small town vibe is the best.”
