UP STF has got many information regarding the properties of Mafia Atiq Ahmed. It is being told that Atiq Ahmed had bought many disputed properties. These properties are present in different areas of Delhi. With the help of Congress leader Afroz, Atiq had bought the disputed property worth more than 100 crores.
It is being told that this property is in more than half a dozen areas of Delhi. Apart from Shaheen Bagh, this property has been found in Okhla, South Delhi and Batla House. After the death of Congress leader Afroz, his two sons became friends with Atiq’s sons Umar, Ali and Asad.
It has also come to light in the investigation that Atiq’s son Asad had taken shelter with the arms smugglers, who were later arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police. Now the immense wealth of Atiq is being investigated. The role of Umar and Ali’s friend is also being probed.
Police got diary from Atiq’s brother-in-law’s house
Please inform that the police had received a diary from the house of the father-in-law of the mafia don Atiq Ahmed, who was killed in the custody of the Prayagraj police, in which all the raw letters of Atiq are recorded. Names of many close friends were found in it and addresses and numbers of many helpers were also found. In the diary, apart from UP, there was mention of Atiq’s black business spread in 5 states.
Business was spread in Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat
Atiq had spread his business from Delhi to Mumbai and from MP, Rajasthan to Gujarat. Many benami properties belonged to him. Was associated with business ranging from real estate to hotels. During the investigation, the police had also recovered the Aadhaar card of Atiq’s brother-in-law Zaki Ahmed. The diary found from Atiq’s brother-in-law’s house contained a list of Atiq’s businesses worth thousands of crores spread across five states.
The UP government had released the details of Atiq’s property
In fact, according to the data released by the UP government on April 13, the administration has taken possession of Atiq Ahmed’s property worth Rs 417 crore, while the illegal encroachment worth Rs 752 crore has been demolished. Overall, illegal assets worth Rs 1169 crore have been unearthed so far.
The ED had raided the hideouts of Atiq and his close associates before the encounter of Atiq’s son Asad and shooter Ghulam. The ED had then received documents of more than 100 illegal and benami properties from 15 locations. During this, it was also revealed that he has bought many properties in the posh areas of Lucknow and Prayagraj. These properties are either in the name of Atiq, or in the name of his family members.
Meanwhile, ED got evidence of a house built in 5900 Sqmt worth Rs 47 lakh in Lucknow registered in the name of Atiq. In the year 2013, Atiq Ahmed had got the plot of Gomtinagar in Lucknow written for Rs 29 lakh, while the circle rate was Rs 47 lakh.
