Repsol Honda made a big big mistake by not signing him after Pedrosa retires. He was a safe option for them and now he's the Yamaha test rider, look at Yamaha now, undoubtedly the best bike this season by some margin. Even Vale said Cal was the missing piece in the Yamaha puzzle
