The police team has arrested 295 people. About 7 thousand liters of illegal raw liquor has been recovered from them. Along with this, four lakh liters of Lahan has also been destroyed by the team. The value of the seized liquor and other things has been said to be around Rs 5 lakh.

Actually, the dates for the civic elections in UP have been announced. In such a situation, the issue of distribution of liquor arises every time during elections. On the instructions of Hardoi SP Rajesh Dwivedi, the police took swift action against those selling illegal and raw liquor simultaneously in the entire district.

The campaign, which started on Saturday night, continued till Sunday morning. During this, the police arrested 295 people running illegal liquor distilleries, making and selling illegal liquor from across the district. Police recovered 6 thousand 684 liters of illegal raw liquor from them.

Police has also caught 74 liquor distilleries during this campaign. In this campaign, the police also destroyed four lakh liters of liquor. The campaign launched on a large scale has created a stir among the illegal liquor traders.
