A period property with retro decor is up for auction near a ‘bustling’ Bristol high street. The two-bedroom terraced house in Fishponds, which is in need of some modernisation, is set to go under the hammer later this month.
Agents at Hollis Morgan say in the listing: “The property now requires updating but would make a fine family home or investment in this sought after location. There is scope for both extension to rear and attic conversion (subject to consents ) to create further accommodation.”
They also say the freehold property on Justice Road “would make a good rental investment if brought to a standard suitable for the professional rental market”. It’s being sold with vacant possession for a guide price of £250,000.

According to Rightmove records, the last property to sell on the road was a three-bedroom terrace that went for £406,380 in 2022, while the last two-bedroom terrace was snapped up for £275,000 back in 2021. Another two-bedroom terrace sold there in 2021 for £312,000.
The auction property spans 1,049 square feet over two floors. Downstairs there are two reception rooms, a toilet, a kitchen and a conservatory, with an enclosed rear garden. Upstairs are the two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Agents describe Fishponds as ‘a popular and thriving neighbourhood’ with a ‘unique character and charm’. The listing continues: “The area is well-known for its strong community spirit, with plenty of local events and activities throughout the year.
“The bustling High Street is a major draw, with an array of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants offering an eclectic mix of cuisines and cultures. From artisan bakeries and coffee shops to vintage clothing stores and gift shops, Fishponds has something for everyone.”
The property will be auctioned off online on Wednesday, May 17 at 5.30pm. Scroll down to view the full gallery
