This isn't right. I wouldn't let my partner decide my friends. If I want to be friends with Donald Trump its my decision its not there.
If a partner told me that I was forbidden from hanging out with a particular friend. I'd tell them to do one. Nor would I try to inflict that on to my partner either. Perhaps the only exception if the friend was trying to get you wrapped up in something illegal or if they were opposite gender you thought funny business was going on. But i still think id request rather than demand
If i tried to tell my husband who he could or couldn't be friends with he wouldn't listen to me anyway. Exactly as i would feel if he tried telling me who i could have as a friend.

We can voice our opinions about our partners friends but we can't tell them who they can be friends with. It's one of those situations that makes you think. Hmmm….if they are friends with this person, they're probably like them. Uh oh. You've made a poor choice for a partner.

He was hounded from running for president to this day he's a man of steel who is massively patriotic. Anyone can look at interviews of Donald Trump as a young man, he said the same things about his country as he does today.
