  1. I have been carnivore for a little over 3 months. I have no intentions of going back to sad diet. Was just wondering if anyone has seen any improvement on vaginal atrophy? I’m on premarin, would love to quit using it.

  2. I had forced menopause with a hysterectomy at 41. I’m 53 this year. Never have taken an estrogen replacement. Only just now starting carnivore. I’ve had very little hot flashes. I have gained weight though.

  3. What about estrogen??
Our bodies stop making estrogen, as we in menopause.
Isn't estrogen vital for our bones, brain and heart . I started hrt soon as I was officially in menopause. It's taken away all my side affects.

  4. I started carnivore and have had wonderful results with aches and pains. However, nightly, the night sweats are HORRIBLE. I never had them until I started carnivore.

  5. Kelly you are wonderful at explaining and putting everything in perspective. Ty for that. So encouraging for many of us.

  6. women aren't told how much caffeine and coffee plays into adrenal fatigue and menopause difficulty… coffee has over 700 volatile compounds that cause metabolic changes for the worse. Caffeine and coffee hammer the adrenals even when you don't feel it because of how it operates in the body.. And no one is except from these effects.. Its like people saying carbs don't hurt me.. They might not be feeling it yet but its hurting them at a cellular level.. its the same with caffeine.. And be patient because caffeine withdrawal and full healing from its damage takes around 3 years on average..

  7. Thoughts on sardines or smoked oysters in olive oil? I prefer the taste in oil over water. Thoughts on Mirena IUD (levonorgestrel, progrsterone-only, no estrogen) contraception? Thank you ladies.

  8. I'm here listening with a migraine. I am 43 and my period has always been wonky. I am in perimenopause. I am spotting right now before and after my period which is also coming late. I have a few autoimmune conditions as well. I am interested in feeling better all around! My iodine level is very low so now I am supplementing with iodine.

  9. HRT has done wonders for women’s energy levels, sex drive and overall youthful feeling including sleep! Don’t suffer ladies, if you need it’s ok, take the help

  10. I’m 57 and will be 58 July 1. I am starting carnivore. I have been extremely unhealthy for the last 20 years. In 2001 I had twin sons delivered by emergency c-section at 28 weeks. I had pneumonia and was severely anemic. My uterus was full of fibroid tumors and my monthly cycle was so heavy I stayed anemic. One twin went home at a month and a half while the other was in icu his first four months, two and a half of those on a ventilator. When I finally got them home each one had an apnea monitor and one had a pulse oxygen monitor and was on oxygen. It was just me and them. I was physically and mentally exhausted for the next 20 years. One of my twins was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at a year old and the other was diagnosed with severe asthma. They are doing amazingly well now but I am just getting back on my feet health wise. I have 100 lbs to lose and want to be healthy. Finding your videos on the carnivore lifestyle has been a Godsend. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and knowledge so generously.

  11. Am I the only one sitting here, thinking about the people at the top of the pyramid that have caused all of this to happen to us? Now here we are trying to make everybody change their diet to beat the system that has harmed us?

  12. Even though this interview was recorded two years ago, with just starting carnivore January 7 of this year (2023) I find this information so very interesting. Really admire all of these women! Kelly, I love how you put the notes on the screen!

  13. Really enjoyed this video with you five wonderful ladies. Thank you. I have been carnivore for 5 months now. The healing benefits have been amazing and there is no way on earth I will ever eat carbs again. My chronic IBS is completely healed, my menopausal symptoms have completely gone, my mood has lifted, my teeth are better (so much so that my grown up son visited at Christmas and asked what work I had had done on my teeth!!!) and my mood is more stable and happier. My husband is managing his diabetes through low carb now and his mood swings have completely gone away. This has been our miracle. However, I have put on 4kg in weight. This has been quite stressful to me. I have even tried a three day butter fast but I was so hungry that my low mood started to come back. Plus, goodness knows why, but I put on another one kilogram.
So here I am in my journey and after listening to you five I have decided to try to chill with all this and just eat meat when I am hungry. I do so hope that I lose this weight soon.

  14. I’m 52 and only carnivore for 2 months. I love how I feel. No bloating, gas or joint pain. I’m also more clear headed and alert now. I went through menopause around age 49 & did experience very bad hot flashes. I still have them occasionally now. I am also really against taking any hormones. I love being off of the mood swing roller coaster which happens after menopause. I had 8 children and nursed them all for around 2 years each. I’m not loosing tons of weight, but my love handles and tummy fat are definitely going down. My skin feels more supple too. I love hearing all of you lovely ladies telling your stories. God bless you all and thank you for your witness!

  15. Also, the term hot “flashes”, in my opinion, is very misleading. It’s more like being very hot and it not going away. It’s like too hot and staying like that rather than a wave of hot that comes and goes quickly. I was surprised by that.

  16. 17 days into the carnivore diet, and I am loving the changes I'm seeing and feeling. Thanks for all the info and support, Kelly! You're beautiful, funny, well-informed and an encouragement at every turn!

  17. I have always had extreme stress, coupled with anxiety and night time panic. 9 years ago, I spent a year watching my husband die. I was 65Lbs over weight and in a dark place. Blood showed no hormones. Taking HRT and wonder if I should stop. Been ketovore 4.5 yrs, down 64Lbs, but don’t want to go back to darkness if I stop taking HRT.

  18. My health has improved beef but I have lipedema. The wieght is barley coing off and its been a year +. Maybe I'll try different types of meat and start walking more. I do like butter but not sure if I should take that out also

  19. Wow ,, one of the ladies said she tested her hormones and had none. And everyone is saying you have to tough it out and have a crappy the rest of your life. menopausal women need BHRT , to protect our heart, bones, and avoid dementia and Altzeimers in our 60s. especially when you don't have many symptoms. The doctors are uneducated in that area and obviously women in that discussion did not spend any time on research . Bio Identical hormones are good for our aging bodies but you have to balance them . ugh

  20. After almost a couple of years in menopause I’m getting a period back after 1 year carnivore. Has this happened to anyone else?
