On Saturday, a Malcom X Small Business Marketplace was held on West Avenue, highlighting small black businesses in the community.
“Basically, he was reading a book about Malcolm X and he told me that he faced a lot of racial tension and basically this move is to show how he fought for his rights and went through difficult times in life and overcame them throughout his life.” life,” said Journei Donaldson of Rochester.
“I think we were here today to help the black community be heard more, because they don’t really listen to us. In addition to the small business market, there was also a firearms safety training and Malcom Art Xpressions and Talent exhibit to celebrate.
