Not seeing the skill or outside of the USA? In the thread mentioned here ( https://community.openai.com/t/chatgpt-on-top-of-amazon-alexa/58515 ), Amazon (in their infinite wisdom – sarcasm), decided to disable the skill in several regions where it was previously working leaving only the USA. It had nothing to do with the developer of the skill. You can see at the very top of the thread it was localized for several countries until very recently. Why Amazon did that is anyone's guess, for now it's only available in the USA.

UPDATE 4/6/2023 – This Skill is Back and has been updated! The developer was paying for everyone's use of the skill but it became too much. There is now an option for Advanced Mode. See below from the developer:

I was able to add the skill yesterday and worked fine. it does ask when youuse it , if you want to turn on the ADVANCED features/settings. and if so it will cost like a dollar something a month, I forget the exact amount. this ADDS the ability for the CHATGPT to have permanant memory of past communications, which is cool I guess to remember your name and location and other things you ask. Its a 2 day trial before charging. that sounded fair so for now I added it. I look forward to this being built in in Alexa but I guess its under development and will soone be a thing. its a no brainer and they will sell more products.
UK here – tried this skill – it is good even on basic version BUT..and its a BIG BUT… I,m not gonna sit through over 60 sec of it telling me about its advanced version or what ever it telling me, EVERY TIME i access it – Thats a major put OFF…..sorry but true..
like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)… but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have…. Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with… I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me….

Does the oracle of light skill have memory of each conversion or does it start from blank with each new conversion?

When it answers, it's not giving me the complete answer. Like after a sentence it cut and ask "something else ?" (autre chose ? in French)
