  1. “Ford’s return to Formula 1 with Red Bull Racing is all about where we are going as a company – increasingly electric, software-defined, modern vehicles and experiences,” said Ford CEO Jim Farley. “F1 will be an incredibly cost-effective platform to innovate, share ideas and technologies, and engage with tens of millions of new customers.”

    Bit sad eh!
As the disruptor Tesla eats Fords lunch in EV innovation, ideas, technology and sales!

Fords EV sales in the US in 2022 was 41,000! Tesla's EV sales in the US in 2022 was 1,200,000.

Ford, the company who's CEO says is increasingly concentrating on electric, software-defined, modern vehicles and experiences, has delivered less than 100,000 EVs in total.
While Tesla is on track to reach 3,500,000 EV deliveries on a cumulative basis.

    Ford's Market cap = US$90-billion. Tesla's Market cap = US$600-billion! ( Was US$1.0-trillion!)

  2. It’s not hard to read between the lines and pick up the wording used here. Ford aren’t going to be making the engines in ‘26, they’re not going to tell Red Bull how to make the powertrain or provide their EV knowledge. That’s garbage. Ford are providing the “depth of resource” and “support”, which is code for “BIG CASH”. In return, Ford get to badge the engines and get space on the cars. Let’s not forget, this is a team that was happy to badge their engines as ‘Tag Heuer’ engines and who turn down Porsche because they wanted too much involvement. Anyone who thinks this is anything more than advertising deal is drinking the Kool Aid hard.

  3. What happened to vw Audi merging with them! 🤣🤣🤣🤣pulled out n thought better of it after they overspent the cost cap n ran off with more performance and big headedness eh🤔they’ll still find a way of cheating and rule bending they always do! FIA still in Redbulls pocket 🤬

  4. Red bull turned down porsche because porsche wanted too much involvement. Ford is not going to make the PU. Ford is simply going to provide truckloads of cash and in return it will be able to stick its logo on the PU designed by red bull engineers.

  5. Ford will be a much better partner than porsche. I own 2 porsches, selling both because of reliability problems. And porsche's unwillingness to fix my macan which is certified and still under factory warranty. Not a good company!

  6. The is 3 years from now. Chances are Checo and Daniel will be gone. Maybe Max on verge of retirement. Horner may be gone too. Who will be the next generation at RB?

  7. Who on earth are these two commentators, Both the Chap and the Lady mispronounce so may words and names.
The Lady with the over large earrings that keeps clanging on her microphone !
Why on earth was Christian Horner not doing this from the very beggnining.
This was not what what, well what I was expecting,
Supposed to be the greatest unavailing of the RB19…….Yeah Right OK…..NOT!

The doodle car was not the new it was an RB17….
Not half as good as we were lead to believe it was going to be….
