  1. Hey Claire, you should have given it a try behind the wheel to see what the real team is about. There is more to it than being a CEO, especially if your life is on the line. Yours never was. It was about business. Businesses come and go…….but good drivers do not.

  2. The only way a family could own an F1 team today and be successful both monetarily and on the circuit would be if the principle owner also coincidentally was a genius Engineer/Aerodynamicist with the Systems Analysis/Program Management skills of the Apollo Moon shot team. Claire has some deep family loyalty but beyond that I don't think she brought anything to F1 (a Ph.D. Aerospace Engineer who works for a large American defense contractor's Missile System company.

  3. Yes, massive respect, too many have got too much to say (negative) I so wished it would have come together better, innumerable reasons why it didn't, but imagine her stature if a little luck went their way (you know there's always at least a small element of that)

  4. Had a massive lump in my throat watching recent interviews with Claire. Williams have been such a massive influence in the sport. To see her and the family leave the sport on what most will see a low point is SO sad. Least she's chosen to leave the sport for the right reasons. Good luck to her, Frank and the rest of the family. Hopefully the future of the team does her and the family proud. Have a fantastic retirement / future Claire. You and the family richly deserve it!! x

  5. For a sport that is mainly for guys. It's amazing how she ran her father's job for so long. Hope she would be happy about what she have done to the sport of men.
Now there will be ladies who has a chance or taught about becoming a same position she done. Would want to do it as she did.
    Have a great life.

  6. I love all the team owners and team managers in here. All of you should go run a team and I bet it would be an outstanding success. Clowns. I bet non of you have ever even been on a team let alone how it all works.

  7. Had a hard week and this was just what I needed after this day to make it a bit better . Formula video + listening to the music I like (Delta Parole, Metallica and other) make me feel the speed and excitement!

  8. Having watched the Netflix series it was clear she was out of her depth. Nice lady but being the daughter of a racing legend doesn't make you qualified or capable of doing the same.

  9. Williams will forever be remember as a CLASS ACT Formula one racing team, they are classy and sport-passionate something to be proud of, specially in f1 bussiness. All the best to this team

  10. It takes real guts to basically say your not good enough. She is a truly amazing person but unfortunately they will always be someone better than you in life which is obviously has accepted. Incredible women.

  11. Well it's a shame giving the Heritage of this team . It has had some legends driving for them . But let's face it Claire has done nothing at all to make this team succeed , giving the success Frank had while he was in charge. Was she the wrong person for the job ABSOLUTELY . Frank should have placed someone else in charge Instead of passing the responsibility to her daughter who hasnt got a clue . Yes shes done the right thing by selling the team . Shes walking away with a tidy profit and what has been achieved by William's will all be down to Frank not Claire .

  12. I'm not saying Williams could've had hold on forever as it was, but I blame it on freakin' Paddy Lowe that it has come to an end sooner than it should've (if ever).

  13. Claire!! That’s exactly right, you’ve inspired me absolutely! I would love to work and be involved in F1, I am a fierce fan, because of my dad!! Thanks for being an inspiration to us gals across the world! Best in your next endeavour, we will miss!!!!

  14. She wasn’t good at all she doesn’t know what discipline and respect means she was to stupid at all her decision even her dad you can see on he’s face was so frustrated this sport it’s for men’s lady I’m sorry but its the truth !!!! Men’s really love a car and it’s the passion!!! Now the team will be so much better 😀 it’s great new you get out for f1

  15. I guess Frank should have given the team to his son after all instead of giving him the task of running the heritage museum.. He gave his little girl what she wanted and now they have nothing. How can anyone say he made the right decision and that she did a good job? They had to sell the team! People think.. SHE DID SUCH A PISS POOR JOB THEY LITERALLY HAD TO SELL THE TEAM!!
