Looking at the comments here, isn't it possible for the father to be greedy for money but also be worried for his son? Maybe this is even his way of trying to punish her for the abuse because the family courts aren't doing enough.
Any updates on this case? I hope they opened up that CPS case and take that baby away from her. I can’t believe CPS didn’t do their job properly!! That’s what’s wrong with CPS!! They don’t care and don’t do their job well. That’s why a lot of abused children end up with bad outcomes . The system is so corrupt. I hope and pray dad gets son and the mother has supervised visits. She looks like she needs mental health help.

I don't really take women too seriously as far as equality under the law goes. For example, there is the fact that women, who commit the same crime as a man, only do a fraction of the time in prison statistically. They just gave the boy back to her. Boys are disposable in society.
