But there is another, potentially dangerous complication. Several hospitals in England are at risk of collapsing, with roofs propped up with scaffolding and poles, because they were built from reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC), a lightweight concrete with bubbles inside like “an Aero chocolate bar”.
