I’m not ashamed to admit that I thought there must have been a misprint when the results came out of that first MotoGP™ test session at Jerez on Friday morning. Dani Pedrosa leading all those young contenders on the KTM he had worked so hard to develop for the factory team and its riders. Of course, there was no misprint. Dani probably, together with Max Biaggi, the unluckiest rider not to have won the MotoGP™ World Championship. Add Randy Mamola and the unluckiest rider not to win a premier class world title. Thirty-seven and still capable of leading a MotoGP™ practice session, that would be enough for me because I was still pissed off.
