  1. It all goes back to grassroots. If it's within the karting circuit, junior categories and lower rungs that we can find the next Michele Mouton, Lella Lombardi, Jamie Chadwick or whoever it may be, it's in those lower series that the focus should be directed, not later on when those with potential are stuck in a dead end series with no means of progression.

  2. Love Danica covering F1, really a great compliment to all the great British on air talent, makes us Americans feel noticed 😊

  3. It was so cool to see Danica shoot down the hopes and dreams of young women on the broadcast a few weeks ago. Really remarkable stuff. Amazing to see her put her own ceiling on other shining young women out of spite.

  4. there's no rule stopping women. matter of fact we have had women on the F1 grid before. so it's not some kinda ground breaking achievement. you fast enough you end up in F1. being competitive in F1 is an entirely different story. how many male drivers had very short careers in F1 and have nicknames for it? goatifi? how about the most recent? Nyck de Vries? 11 races and it's over. so you wanna induce that trauma in women? and then criticize the sport for being misogynistic.
I think the only way to have some really good F1 female drivers is for them to start very young like boys. especially go kart.
I really hoped they invest in the W series and make it big for women but they just treated it as some kinda junior series and killed it. which is a shame.

  5. Interesting she said one of her favourite things about being in England was that there is really good drivers in England. She's so correct. Whether it be on public roads or racetrack, the driving level is really high. And being an Englishman and fortunate to have lived and visited quite a few countries around the world I would have to back that up. England is one of the best countries for driving ability. And that's because the driving conditions are so tough, and the driving tuition is of an extremely high standard. I can compare to now living in Australia, where the standard is so poor.

  6. Pffff no female drivers are yet good enough. Stop pushing all this feminism, equal rights, drama. If they are good enough they’ll get a seat, if not they aren’t

  7. Problem is the FIA and their points system, Say Chadwick gets to indy car, she has to get all these points/championships to get a super license otherwise she can't come to F1. So that's one girl against 60-70 guys (F2, F3, indycar) So even is she is as god as some really good guys chances are very very slim she ever be able to make it to F1 (also who is going to take the risk?). The whole formula W and now this female feeder series is an absolute hoax.

  8. The honest answer would be none. Because it's physically too demanding. This is why we have women's sports. But clearly its the fault of the patriarchy that there are no women drivers in F1. 🤔 Don't let the truth get in the way…

  9. This pod leaves me wondering why did Skysports hire her!
Appreciate her honesty, but really does not love her job 😢😢😢
The best employee is the one who has a passion for their job!!!!

If she is a female quota, find someone else

  10. It must be so tiring to be a woman in motorsport and being asked in every interview about promoting more women. Really impressed Danica was honest and said she didn't care as long as the racing is good.
