Police have charged someone with the murder of a 60-year-old man in Wandsworth.
Paulo Mendes, 27, with no fixed address, was charged on Sunday with the murder of Peter Sisson.
He will appear in custody at a magistrates court on Monday.
Police were called Tuesday after concerns were raised for the well-being of an occupant of an address on Juniper Drive.
Officers attended and found Mr. Sisson inside the property. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His closest relatives have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
A special autopsy was carried out on Thursday. A formal cause of death has not been established and further tests will be carried out.
Detectives from the Met’s Crime Command are leading the investigation “due to the circumstances,” the force said.
