Does Your Cat Deserve a Fresh Bowl for Each Feeding?

A: I’m too distracted to make a ruling. I’m trying to figure out if your in-laws have been feeding this one immortal cat for 30 years, or if they take perverse delight over the decades watching new kittens eat from a dead cat’s dish.B: While I admire your service to your cat (and hope the cat even notices your hard work), your wife is right: This is excessive. Dishwasher racks are valuable real estate that shouldn’t be monopolized by your cat and his Fancy Feast.C: It’s a precedent in this fake court that the person who does the work makes the rules. The person driving picks the music, and more pertinently, the person doing the dishes chooses how to load the dishwasher. So long as you’re washing the bowls, use as many as you desire/your cat demands. But do so by hand, so your cat can really see how much you care, but then probably ignore you anyway.
