  1. I always thought it was a genius idea to have all the parents of the teenagers played by comedians. It really gave us a chance to see their dramatic acting abilities. Harry Enfield and Morwenna Banks were superb as effys parents. I would never have guessed they could ever turn in such good performances.

  2. Have to say that was an ultimate alpha move from effys dads mate, just walked into his house and started aggressively snogging his wife right in front of him 😂

  3. such great actors, pandora was great, effy's father is funny (comic) then becomes dramatic, I felt so bad for him, I felt so guilty for laughing so much at the things that happened to him beaucase he's just a poor neurotic

  4. Well, good thing is her brother Tony actually still looks after her and their mother. Its just that the producers wanted to focus mainly on the season 3-4 characters only and Tony was written behind the scene. It was insinuated after this episode that Tony frequently checks in with Effy. Many said the father shouldn’t have left her. The writers actually explained the father never left her, but they focused on showing Effy mending her relationship with her mother.

  5. Panda is the best 2nd Gen character. Cook comes second. And even though i liked Panda/Thomas ship, i loved the character development that Panda had after she messed around with Cook.

  6. They managed to get some legendary comedians to appear on this show. Enfield and Baddiel in the same scene, plus Bill Bailey, Peter Capaldi, Ardal O'Hanlon, Matt King, John Bishop, Neil Morrissey, Sally Phillips, Simon Day and Olivia Coleman (remember that she started her career with comedy). It's like an all star cast of British comedy, but just with cameo appearances.
