David Croft is missing the point. Clearly David doesn't understand the rules either & certainly can not explain it or for some odd reason does not want to ADMIT that Michael Masi manipulated the race result. Masi DOES NOT have the power to un-lap 5 cars between 1st & 2nd place whilst leaving all other lapped cars in place… FACT.
Masi invented his own rule.
If this decision was allowed within the rules, then Mercedes would have pitted Lewis, losing track position knowing they would certainly get it back at the restart! It's called strategy.
What we all saw & were subjected to was "RACE FIXING". Masi should be charged with manipulating a major sporting event as bookmakers & pundits have had to pay massive amounts of money in or out because of a "Manipulated" result. & a FAKE Champion.
Its NOT about the use of the safety car at all as this was used within the rules… its about giving Redbull team & Max Verstappen a Clear & Unfair advantage whilst disadvantaging everyone else!

ever snice massi came in this position since 2019 he has been using SC just for entertainment. i mean y care abt entertainment on t.v. Jut to gain viewership FIA is spoiling the sport.

It is good looking back over what David Croft said about Mercedes appeal over the like hood of the the FIA regulations I have be reading in the newspaper about the appeal hearing on March 18th 2022 let hope it spoke about how controversy of the final race is Abu Dhabi was last year and for changes are for made fan F1 to understand better in the sport.
