Good to see that FIA acknowledges mistakes made by Michael Massey and was influenced by Horner. Going forward changes made to not allow this to happen had to be implemented. The reality is if you make major errors in a job that requires you to make the correct decisions you will be replaced. It happens everywhere in any job and although you may be a nice person and liked ultimately you have responsibility to do your job correctly as expected. Of course Redbull will defend Massey as they need to defend him to legitimize the title. If they said Massey made an error then they are saying the championship was won in error! I predict there will not be a championship decided in last race this year or for several years.

A tough situation all around. It would have been tempting to not end the hyped final race in such an anticlimactic way, but Masi broke the rules and made the wrong choice, which robbed Lewis and threw Max into a situation he didn't deserve. *Max earned the right to fight for a championship, but rather than earn it, it was handed to him, like steroid-taking baseball players like *Barry Bonds, *Max will forever have an asterisk, because his 1st title (he'll likely get more) was controversial.
So is Hamilton the champian No so why would he be happy because Masi has been sacked?

For every English f1 fans that was disappointed with what happened last year, there are hundreds of worldwide fans that were incredibly happy to have a race decide on a racing lap not on safety car, bring some excitement to F1 for a change.

Fvck F1 so staged… i thought sport should be sportive… before its was the team mclaren cheating… ferrari also cheating with engine fuel… nowadays its getting more and more crazy… even the judge… is so sus… wtf… cant be more crazy than that… title champion being given just like that… now i lost respect to redbull guys and the FIA… i dont believe max getting involved but… still he didnt deserve the win… i hope Ferrari and mercedes beating them out…

It wasn’t just the decisions made in the final frenzied moments of the race, but Toto took umbrage with Masi’s retort. From that point onwards he wanted Michael Masi’s head on a plate. And he got his way.
