A failure in the Central Bank prevented the payment of 45,335 installments unemployment insurance via Electronic Transfer Available (TED) that were scheduled for this last Tuesday (16), according to the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
The Federal Savings Bank, which pays the benefit, said that the error occurred due to the unavailability of the Central Bank’s TED operation. The report questioned the BC about the problem, but did not receive a response until this post.

The ministry confirmed, on Thursday (18), that the payment will be made in the next batch, scheduled for next Tuesday (23). It will not be necessary to make a request with the folder.
Only quotas via TED were affected and will be reissued. The rest was paid normally, according to the government.
Payment information will be available for consultation on the Digital Employment Card, starting at 12 noon this Saturday (20).
This is how unemployment insurance is calculated:
- For those who earn, on average, up to R$ 1,968.36: multiply the average salary by 0.8
- For those who earn, on average, from R$ 1,968.37 to R$ 3,280.93: what exceeds R$ 1,968.36 is multiplied by 0.5 and added to R$ 1,574.69
- For those who earn, on average, more than R$ 3,280.93: the value will be unchanged from R$ 2,230.97
