Indiana-based First Commonwealth Bank announced it has received the 2023 Greenwich Excellence Small Business Banking Award for overall satisfaction in the Northeast.
Coalition Greenwich, a division of S&P Global's CRISIL business, is a provider of strategic benchmarking, analytics and information to the financial services industry.
According to Coalition Greenwich, recipients of the Greenwich Award for Excellence in Small Business Banking “stand out for their ability to combine high-quality daily service, innovative digital banking tools and insights that help optimize business performance.”
Coalition Greenwich evaluated the small business banking platforms of more than 500 banks. Of those, only 39 had what the company called the distinctive quality needed to win the Greenwich Award of Excellence.
Awards are based on more than 5,000 interviews with companies with sales up to $10 million nationwide.
“This recognition is particularly meaningful given our continued work to be the best bank for business,” said Joseph Culos, FCB financial solutions executive, who oversees small business development and growth. “Strong companies create strong communities. As a community bank focused on improving the financial lives of our neighbors and their businesses, we are committed to meeting the needs of business owners in Pennsylvania and Ohio.”
