5. The F1 the movie hits the screens
And if in addition to all that you are looking for even more entertainment, the F1 The movie will arrive this summer. The film, directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Brad Pitt and Lewis Hamilton, will be distributed in theaters and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures internationally on June 25, 2025 and in North America on June 27, 2025. .
The film stars Pitt as former F1 driver Sonny Hayes, who returns to the sport with rookie teammate Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris, in the fictional APXGP team.
Filming took place at real F1 events, and Formula 1 and Apple Original Films released the first teaser during last year’s British Grand Prix weekend, giving a taste of the action to come. Check it out in the video player below.
