The Gaston Business Association is planning its first small business expo.
May 1 is in the middle of Small Business Week and organizers wanted to showcase the businesses that make up Gaston County communities.
“This exhibition was inspired by the growing demand from our investors who wanted to get out of the community more,” the organization said in an email.
Here are four key things to know about the event:
1. When and where
The event will be from 3 to 6 pm and will be followed by a reception at 7 pm on May 1 at the Gastonia Conference Center.
Attendance is free, but providers will be charged based on their GBA membership status. It costs $50 to set up a booth for current investors/members and $250 for non-investors/members.
There are a handful of places left.
