CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) – Champion Community Investments will host a free workshop in Carbondale for entrepreneurs and small business owners on July 16.
The “Finding Financing for Your Small Business Using Traditional Alternative Financing Methods” workshop is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, startups, and current small business owners in the Jackson County area.
Organizers say participants will learn:
- Traditional and alternative financing options.
- How to Prepare for a Business Loan or Financing Opportunity
- Credit, collateral and lender expectations
- Tips to strengthen your business plan and financial projections
Featured speakers include regional community lenders, bankers and creative financing experts.
The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the SIU Research Park, Dunn-Richmond Center, 1740 Innovation Drive. Lunch will be provided.
Attendees are encouraged to stay after the presentation to network with lenders.
