  1. Shouldn't we be talking about China's AI instead of this Google vs. Open AI sideshow? Asians are genetically smarter than Westerners and AI is the Ultimate Darwinian Showdown. We will either be enslaved by Chinese Skynet or by AI under human control of CCP. Let's face it, in 20 years, CCP-GPT will pwn Google, Open AI, and our nuclear weapons systems, Our only hope is that the combined crebral DNA of Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam is a match for China. We're like ballboys at Wimbledon.

Seriously, Japan Times reports that China currently dominates AI science like they dominate Olympic diving. Bard vs. ChatGPT is an irrelevant ethnocentric meme.

  2. chatgpt is only useful to conversational search. but if i wanted to go to a place to eat or buy something, i dont want a bunch of text. i want images, google directions, shopping etc etc. so google is definitely has the upper hand for general search. and once bard is fully released it'll kill all others because it has general search and conversational search, so bye bye chatgpt.
