  1. Hi Maggie, it’s so nice to find your channel. I have just left another comment on Parenting in the 21st Century. Parenting is tiring and we often have 4 of the youngest cousins sleep over at the same time. It just means we are very tired the next day but it’s worth it. AND our house is a bomb!! But again worth it. I think you’re really right about not trying to grandparent them the way we parented. It’s a different world. We have our own rules at our house that are different from their own homes especially around food but I work really hard at trying to have food on hand that will not cause a fight and one of them now has real Autistic eating problems so it would break our relationship to make him eat everything on his plate. I just give him very small portions and he can keep coming back 10 times for refills. Little tips like that help. Anyhow love your sentiments and completely agree.
