Groupe Crit SA, a Paris-based staffing agency with operations in the US, reported that first-quarter revenue rose 11.3% year over year to €583.0 million (US$634.1 million), including the impact by Okay jobwhich it acquired in December 2022. Groupe Crit’s year-over-year sales growth was 6.4% on an organic, constant currency basis.
Revenue from broadcasting outside France rose 17.8% to €134.4 million (US$146.2 million), including OK Job. However, sales declined by 5.5% on an organic, constant currency basis.
US sales fell 3.2% to €63 million (US$68.5 million); the company said sales in the US held up well in the context of a labor market slowdown. US sales include Peoplelink Staffing, based in South Bend, Indiana.
French staffing revenue increased 6.3% to €345.4 million (US$375.6 million).
Groupe Crit said sales in its non-staffing multiservices division were up 24.1%.
Share price and market capitalization
Shares in Groupe Crit closed 1.36% in Paris today to €74.40 (US$81.93); they were 1.59% below their 52-week high, according to FT.com. The company had a market capitalization of €825.75 million (US$909.3 million).
