  1. yes its pretty dramatic for a racing series when the leading car can drive the last lap with a flat tire and still win the race…weak product liberty..

  2. Is it me or have people started pronouncing Leclerc's first and last names in the "English" way lately? Post race press conference for example… I wonder why?

  3. Ok but the red bull camp did not show any signs of Tyre wear/blistering or vibration in the last moments of the race "race report". Ten laps from the end, with Hamilton and Bottas’ hard tyres both sporting visible blisters on the front-lefts, while Verstappen had done a fine job to stay within 10s of Bottas, having built up his own near-half minute gap over Leclerc. With two laps to go, though, Mercedes looked set to eke out the tyre life, but then the cameras picked up the astonishing sight of Bottas limping, his tyre having let go at Turn 3 on Lap 50, with nearly a full lap for him to recover. Lap 51 Verstappen into the pits for an free pit stop to change to softs and try and claim fastest lap, not because he wasn't sure what was going on with is tyres. Now, with all this data, the Reb bull race engineers and Max are trying cover up this awful mistake with excuses. they had nothing to loose and everything to gain

  4. George Russell was even faster in the F1 car of Hamilton when George got the oppurtunity to drive Hamilton's car , so why saying that Ham is the best? , he is NOT !! he has the best car and by far the best team that makes the difference!!! and again he was very lucky in comparison to Bottas with his puncture , ofcourse a puncture is bad luck but look what happened to Valteri in comparison to Lewis………….

  5. 10/10 for Max's 'remember to drink' joke during the race, minus 1,000,000 points for bigging-up his sense of humour in this interview – I worry, when Max hits puberty he'll discover girls and lose all interest in cars.

  6. Tyre compound had NOTHING to do with the failures… that much is obvious DC!! Wherever these lacerations came from plus the excessive stress the left front is under at silverstone… softer tyres/a less conservative approach by Pirelli is what everyone… even yourself has asked for for years. Softer tyres should equal 2 or more stops. Your logic ONLY applies if the teams try to 1 stop on softer tyres, then yes were likely to see failures but due to OVER user of the tyres which the teams won't do because Pirelli and there own testing will show tyre life expectations and the math won't allow 1 stop… I love channel 4 coverage, but DC and Steve don't half like to over dramatise on occasions. Sure you'll fool the casual fans but not the majority in the know.

  7. Why do we watch post race interviews when all they have to say is what we already watched. 2 days later we find out on the net what Max actually said. Sky is rapidly becoming a wet blanket smothering the real passion going on.

  8. What I’m wondering is that when someone has damage which is deemed dangerous for other you are obliged to come in and repair, my idea is that this tire damage could have the potential to be dangerous so why was LH not coming in???
