Help us compile our ranking of diversity leaders in Europe

In November, the Financial Times releases its fifth annual list of European leaders in diversity and invites FT readers to share their thoughts again for this ranking of inclusive companies.

The research will help assess the extent to which public and private companies in 16 European countries have a diverse and inclusive workforce. The results will be based on the perceptions of their employees and colleagues who take part in them this survey.

The 2022 ranking was led by Infineon, the German chip maker, whose longstanding reputation for inclusivity dates back not least to when it became one of the first companies to sign up to the German Diversity Charter in 2007. In second place there was the Dutch business supply and services company Start People. Techint Group, a Luxembourg-based producer and converter of materials, metals and paper, took third place.

As with last year’s Diversity Leaders list, to be eligible, companies must employ at least 250 people and be based in one of the following countries: Austria; Belgium; Denmark; Finland; France; Germany; Ireland; Italy; Luxembourg; Netherlands; Norway; Poland; Spain; Sweden; Switzerland and the UK.

The survey will evaluate companies’ performance in promoting five aspects of diversity: gender balance, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity and disability. The ranking will be published as part of a special report in the Financial Times newspaper and on FT.com on November 16.

Readers, employees, HR experts, and recruiters can complete it online questionnaire, which should take about eight minutes. The data will be collected and controlled by Statista, our research partner.

The deadline for completing the survey is June 14th. Your answers will be anonymized for publication.

In addition to survey responses, Statista will seek publicly available data and conduct further in-depth research to investigate companies’ commitment to establishing inclusiveness and diversity in the workplace.
