While traditions come and go, there may be none as lasting as watching the Detroit Lions play on Thanksgiving. In every year of the team’s existence – except from 1939 to 1944, when the world was preoccupied with World War II – the Lions participated in Thanksgiving games.
And they have lost every time since 2016.
However, that could change this year as Detroit boasts one of the best records in the NFL and is always in charge on the field.
While you wait for the turkey to finish cooking and stay away from any political debates that might be taking place in your home this year, find a comfortable spot on the couch and enjoy some football. This year there are three games waiting for you to enjoy.
However, note that unlike a normal Thursday, none of today’s games will be broadcast Amazon. Instead, this streaming service will offer an exclusive game on Friday.
Here’s how to watch this Thanksgiving’s matchups.
