Last year saw the second biggest surprise in Kentucky Derby history, so all eyes will be on Churchill Downs on Saturday to see if the ponies pull off an even bigger surprise.

NBC is carrying the Derby this year — and making the most of the event. Coverage begins at 12:00 p.m. ET and runs until 7:30 p.m. ET.

Can I watch the 2023 Kentucky Derby online?

Yes. NBC will offer a live stream NBCSports.com and there are many other options including:

NBC streaming service gives you access to multiple games including all Sunday night matchups. You can get a seven-day free trial followed by a $5 or $10 monthly fee. (The free version of Peacock does not include live sports.)

Disney+

disney bundle from disney+, Hello and ESPN+ no longer has a free trial, so you’ll have to pay $13.99 a month for all three together (or $19.99 a month with no ads on Hulu). Including Live TV in the package bumps the price up to $70 per month ($76 without ads).

Sling TV

Dish Network’s Sling recently increased its prices. The lower “Orange” plan is now $40 per month. Adding the more comprehensive “Blue” plan brings the cost up to $55 per month. (An increase of $5 per month.) The seven-day free trial is gone along with the price increase, but the cord-cutting service is offering a 50% discount off the first month’s bill.

DirectTV stream

Formerly known as DirecTV Now, AT&T TVNow and AT&T TV, this often rebranded streaming service will bring you $70 per month and up after the free trial option.

Fubo TV

This sport-oriented line cutting service carries broadcast networks in most markets. There’s a seven-day free trial, followed by monthly fees ranging from $70 to $100 depending on the channels you choose.

Forte is currently the favorite at 3-1, followed by Tapit Trice at 5-1 and Angel of Empire at 8-1. according to CBS Sports. Reincarnate and Continuar are the long shots, each at odds of 50-1.

When are the other two races in the Triple Crown?

With the derby over, the next game is The Preakness Stakes. It takes place on May 20th at the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore. The final leg of the Triple Crown – The Belmont Stakes – will take place on June 10th at Belmont Park in Elmont, NY.
