‘High unemployment’ can be expected if small businesses close down

Increases in super, supply chain issues and interest rate rises will see small businesses shut down and it’s important they get help as “they are the biggest employer in Australia”, says Small Business Women Australia chief executive Amanda Rose.

“People don’t realize that the cafe they go to for their coffee is in debt and they’re running at a loss,” Rose told Sky News Australia.

“As soon as they start shutting down, we’re going to have high unemployment.”
