How strict is too strict in parenting

Nothing is too strict for Asian moms.

My parents were pretty strict, but it really felt like they didn't care about my feelings. My parents would yell at me for forgetting to do stuff(this happens often, my memory's not the best for smaller stuff), they were strict about school, I never felt like I could relax around them. I felt like I needed to be doing something all the time. And when I opened up to my mom about my panic attacks, she claimed it was because I was disorganized, and the next day when I forgot to do something she yelled at me even more than usual and said "this is why you have panic attacks". She never guessed the actual reasons I came to about them.

I would have rebelled like a Frenchman from the 18 hundred, four years ago if I was you

the only thing I'll get when I'm older is bad memories of my nearly nonexistent childhood

Seriously having to ask to eat food that's just gonna give you an Ed aka an eating disorder

The only thing I've ever done on that list was ask to eat something, and it was only because I've accidently eaten something someone was saving.
