How long do you spend in the shower? I am a terrible Dawdler when it comes to my ablutions. Happily I would stop under the tap for several hours if time was not a concern and I didn’t always have to drag me. However, after having discovered that an eight -minute shower can waste more than 100 liters of water (more than one bathroom, which uses around 80 liters), I had to have a sharp word with my interior water baby on cutting.
Water scarcity has become an urgent issue, especially in the light of Forest Fire in California. Although I am currently looking at a Llovizna miasma that seems to have hung heavy during the United Kingdom for weeks, the probability that drought for millions of people throughout the planet has become an almost infraction, since every year temperatures reach new records. The two -minute shower, which first won a traction in Cape City during the chronic water crisis in that city in 2018, is one of the small settings that we can make that, if we all do it, it would make a big difference. And, as water invoices increase (at least in the United Kingdom), it is also a habit that could have a significant impact on the domestic bag. Warsaw has been enjoying a new cultural approach lately. The city forms the backdrop of the Oscar -nominated film A real painin which Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin play cousins on a tour of Poland in honor of their late grandmother. It is also the home of a new Museum of Modern Art and, perhaps by association, a revived artistic energy. In another internal guide, the poet and author Cleo Wade gives us a New Orleans personal portrait And, more importantly, New Orleans during the Jazz Festival. On the other hand, I have kept my spiritual pilgrimage for a slightly closer place, and a trip northwest of London and my favorite shopkeeper Panzer is in San Juan’s wood. Set for the first time in 1944 by the Austrian refugee Mr Panzer and his commercial partner Czelovaco Walter Vogl, the store has been serving its exemplary smoked salmon, bagels and basic products of Delicatessen to its customers for 80 years. He is now directed by David Josephs, who bought it from the Vogl family in 2015, and that since then has supervised a gradual renewal of the facilities. It has culminated in a new brilliant configuration, extended dining space and cafeteria. The locals will be cautious, they have never enjoyed the change. But I have passed beyond my coffee during the transition (they never really closed for business), and I am quite excited to see facial stretching, in particular the lovely Panzer espresso glasses is glazed in its rose and personalized green. Panzer is still one of the most premium supermarkets in London, and every time I visit it seems that I am giving myself a huge pleasure. Also, according to me HTSI Calculations, I can use all the money I must save in water and splash in its banana bread.
