Ciao Sandwich Co. is a proud graduate of the center’s “Starter Company Plus” program, which provides training, mentoring and funding to help entrepreneurs launch and formalize their companies.

“We know that taking the first step or planning an exit can be daunting,” says James Parisi, a consultant at the center.

“We are bringing our services to familiar, welcoming spaces to remove barriers and ensure Timmins entrepreneurs have access to the resources they need to succeed,” he said in a statement released Wednesday.

Topics covered include writing a business plan, obtaining financing, navigating licensing, or developing a succession strategy.

Business center staff will be available to provide practical, individualized support and no appointment is necessary.

Sessions will be held on Thursday, July 16 from noon to 1 pm at Anti-Hunger Coalition Timmins (187 Cedar Street South), Wednesday, July 22 from 8 am to 10 am at Ciao Sandwich Co. (177 Third Avenue), and Wednesday, July 29 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Timmins Public Library (320 Second Avenue).
